Schools could be better

This was originally a blue-collar community several decades ago. In the SF Bay Area, it is not known for its high-quality public schools, K-12. So.SF has a number of parochial schools and/or is within driving distance of a few others. Many parents choose parochial over public. The city's two high schools are not well-respected for student academic achievement.
